Pinot’s Palette Turns 4 & Leads the Paint and Sip Industry

Today marks a special occasion in the world of Paint and Sip.  Pinot’s Palette turns 4 years old today!  The picture to the right, is Beth Willis, Craig Ceccanti (me), and Charles Willis at the very first Pinot’s Palette class on May 8th, 2009.  We had big plans to revolutionize the paint and wine industry by providing a new and different experience.

With our mission set, “Bringing art to the masses through a fun and entertaining experience with extraordinary customer service” we have been able to shape and now truly lead the paint and sip industry across the nation.  Looking back over the past year, Team Pinot (headquarters, franchisees, and artists) has moved mountains.  Artists continue to contribute and innovate new painting ideas and service concepts such as, pet project, kids’ camps, team building, and glass painting.  Our franchisees, we call them partners, give just as much as they take from the system by pooling their skills and experience to help us make Pinot’s Palette the strongest paint and sip brand in the country.  Our partners bring infinite passion to the market to bring our once new painting and wine concept to life.  The headquarters team is one of the most productive groups I have had the privilege of working with in my career.  This past year we brought on over 25 new amazing partners, 4 new head quarter team members, and are opening many new locations in 10 new states. And we’re having a blast doing it!  Pinot’s Palette can truly claim a national brand presence and the title of biggest paint and sip franchise system.

We evaluate the paint and sip industry on a daily basis, and could not be more excited about where we are today after 4 years of hard work (and having fun).  We see similar paint and sip concepts attempting to imitate our franchise offering or open independently with consultants, and we have learned smart business owners see holes in their offerings. The important questions they ask during the process are, “What am I really getting?  Is the team, technology, and infrastructure in place to give me the support I will need now and ongoing?” From a consumer analysis perspective they ask, “Are there better paint and sip franchise options?”

There is no doubt the industry is on an upward trajectory with a long shelf life.  After four years, the Pinot Team has managed to stake a claim as the paint and sip industry leader. As our commitment to our customers and partners, we will continue to stay true to our values as we transform our brand into a household name.

I still recall my mentor, Dr. Al Napier from Rice University, saying on the first day of class, “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.”  He was right. This has been an incredible journey since May 8th, 2009, and I can’t wait to continue on for many years to come.
