Valencia CA: Welcome to the team, Stephanie Sewell and Kathy Guccione!

We are excited to announce our first southern California studio, located in Valencia, California! Since getting to know Stephanie and her family earlier this year we were impressed by their passion for the concept and community involvement. Please join us in welcoming Stephanie and her mother, Kathy, to Team Pinot.

 Stephanie, how did you become interested in Pinot’s Palette?

I have been looking for an opportunity to combine both my business acumen as well as my personal passion for many years. As a young adult, I made the difficult choice to pursue a traditional college experience rather than use my natural artistic talent and attend art school. Since then, I have always used creativity as an outlet to the many stressors that challenge my busy professional life.

In addition, my husband and I are avid wine enthusiasts. At the beginning of our relationship we took our first trip to wine country together, were married at a winery and since have had the pleasure of tasting and exploring many wineries in Southern, Central and Northern California. We are very fortunate to live a short drive from wine country and take pleasure in experiencing the culture and learning more about the wine making process each trip we take.

The opportunity to own a business such as Pinot’s Palette would allow me to utilize the skills I have acquired over the last 15 years in Human Resources as well as personal interests in both wine and art and a passion for helping other’s express their creativity and escape from their daily lives by creating a relaxing experience.

What are your favorite quotes?

Stephanie: “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind.”

Kathy: “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now when?”

What will you be sipping at your Grand Opening?

Both: Chardonnay!

In preparation for our next Annual Retreat, what will your intro theme songs be for Team Valencia?

Stephanie: “Defying Gravity” from Wicked

Kathy: “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere”
